2009 US OPEN
3rd Round
ROGER FEDERER v LLEYTON HEWITT
4-6 6-3 7-5 6-4

Roger Federer came from a set down to beat former world number one Lleyton Hewitt,
who showed glimpses of his glory days by taking the opening set.
Federer also had a nasty fall on the court when his leg slipped out from under him, but was able to recover from that and
refocus on the match. Hewitt had 14 break point opportunities which might have turned the match, but he only converted 3 of them
while Federer used his serve to fend off the rest.
Hewitt has lost 13 straight times to Federer, and although he tested the Swiss great, he would need to hit many more first serves in play to really
force the action.
