Federer has been vanquished in the SF in 2005 and in the finals of the French Open in 2006 and 2007... all done at the hands of Rafael Nadal.

2008 has been a strange year for Federer as he has had to overcome sickness and lackluster play at the beginning of the year.  But his main focus

has been on his greatest challenge; beating Nadal on the clay of Roland Garros.

Nadal meanwhile, is trying to make history of his own with his 4th consecutive French Open title.
