2007 DAVIS CUP FINAL
USA v RUSSIA
JAMES BLAKE v MIKHAIL YOUZHNY
6-3,7-6,6-7,7-6

James Blake gave the USA a commanding
2-0 lead over Russia in the Davis Cup final with a hard fought victory over
Mikhail Youzhny.
Blake clinched the second singles match after a gritty fightback from his
opponent in the three-and-a-half hour clash at Portland's Memorial Coliseum.
"Mikhail played great and he's got a lot more experience than me in situations
like this," Blake said. "So for me to come through is a big moment for me and
for the team."
