Novak Djokovic produced a fantastic performance to beat top seed Roger Federer and win the Montreal Masters.
Djokovic worked over Federer's backhand until he was able to get a ball to attack and then he would crank a 95mph forehand winner.
A gameplan that can only work if the player has total confidence in his shots, and Djokovic rarely missed.
Djokovic beat the #3 ranked player Andy Roddick, #2 Rafael Nadal, and the world #1 Roger Federer in his path to win the tournament.
But Djokovic has always been confident, and his game has improved to the point that even
the best need to take notice. Djokovic uses his long legs to cover the baseline and generates tremendous power on his groundstrokes.
“It’s a dream come true to win such a strong tournament as this and to win against probably the best player ever in the sport,” said Djokovic
