RAFAEL NADAL v LUIS HORNA

Second seed Rafael Nadal had to dig deep to overcome the tremendous effort by Peruvian Luis Horna in the second round of the US Open.
The 20-year-old Spaniard dropped the second set against world #61 Horna but eventually used his athlteticism to advance to the next round.

Horna proved he was just as fast as Nadal and kept his level of play very high before eventually tiring in the fourth set.  Both players were

able to run down drop shots and lobs to produce some fantastic tennis.  Horna played some amazing highlight reel points, but Nadal was able to withstand the Peruvian's barrage by increasing the aggression of his own play.  An incredible display of quickness by both players.
