Andre Agassi, a 35-year-old two-time champion, came back from two sets down to beat James Blake and reach the semifinals of the U.S. Open. In one of the most dramatic matches ever, Agassi showed the determination to come back after all seemed lost. Agassi also demonstrated why he is in no rush to retire since his fitness level is unquestionably superb and his shotmaking still brilliant. James Blake performed admirably the entire match and was so close to winning. This is truly an instant classic and immensely enjoyable tennis by both players.
