Andy
Roddick v Carlos Moya
5-7 6-2 7-5
Second seed Andy Roddick overcame a stiff challenge from Spain's fifth seed Carlos Moya to reach the semi-finals of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami.
The American lost a see-saw first set, but stormed through the second and recovered from a break down in the decider for a 5-7 6-2 7-5 victory.
"He was the better player pretty much all day," Roddick said. "Luckily, I just think he got a little tight. I would love to sit here and claim all credit, but that's not the case."
Moya admitted: "When you have these chances against Roddick and you don't take them, normally you lose. That's what happened today. Sometimes you lose a match like this and you don't know what to think. I was controlling the match very well and probably I got tight and that was it."
